What I loved: One of my favorite parts of this book are the inclusion PeekaBoo Pop-Ups book male and female parents and children that show mother and father animals taking care of and spending time with their children. As young children explore the spreads, they will learn to recognize, name, and describe the pictures they see. What left me wanting more: As a very small point, the pop-ups are a little delicate and could be ripped by toddlers or strong infants. However, the flaps are very sturdy and should hold up for most children. When we read this the first time I thought maybe it's a bit young for my almost-three-year-old because the text is really simple and includes cues like, "Say bye-bye!

Highly recommend for children who love to explore the world around them with their hands and will get in to lifting the flaps and peekaboo-ing the baby animals. She doesn't PeekaBoo Pop-Ups book her color names yet but thoroughly enjoys saying the names of all of the stuffed animals.
